The scorpion you found is almost certainly an Arizona bark scorpion. It's the one that matters here: the most venomous scorpion in the country, a climber, and small enough to pass through a crack the width of a credit card. Bark scorpions hunt at night, ride block walls between yards, and get inside through weep screeds, door thresholds and plumbing penetrations. Sealing helps. It is not enough on its own, which is why scorpion work in Phoenix is its own specialty.
Companies that do this well treat the scorpion plus its food supply. Scorpions follow crickets. A yard full of them keeps pulling scorpions in no matter what goes on the foundation. Expect the technician to work the block walls, the yard, the foundation line, the entry points.
